Ptu - Unicorn Falls

This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Tube of choice/close up

Paid Scrap kit by Toxic Desirez

Font of choice

Redpaw media - beautifier

Tutorial shortcut index:

"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.

"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.

Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.

"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.

"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.

New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.

"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy

Good D/S settings:

0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:

Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome

Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

No tubes were used

Open canvas size 620x620

Open frame 3, R/S to 80% C/P onto canvas

Click inside frame, selections modify- expand by 8

Open paper3, R/S to 80% C/P onto canvas

selections invert - delete select none drag below frame layer

Select your frame, use burn tool and darken the frame. 

Apply drop shadow of choice and add noise

Open bush R/S to 60% C/P onto canvas

Drag behind frame. duplicate and drag this layer

above your frame, so the bottom of the frame is covered

Open waterfall R/S to 60% C/P onto canvas

drag below your frame drag where you want inside frame

Open cherry blossom branch R/S to 40% C/P onto canvas

place on the sides of your frame behind the bush

duplicate placing two on each side. then on each branch

Adjust- brightness/contrast settings: brightness 12, contrast 22

Open lights, R/S to 25% C/P onto canvas

place on the top of your frame. duplicate and mirror

Open grass don't R/S C/P onto canvas place it above your

arch but below the bush so it's hiding below it

Erase any grass thats hanging off the sides

Unicorn2 R/S to 50% C/P onto canvas

place behind the front bush. apply D/S

Apply brightness -22, contrast 22

Now it's time for more elements

Elements i used and the resized %

Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 31, 8, color black

Flowers - 30%

Butterfly2 - 20%

Shrooms - 15%

Wand - 25%

Vines&Flowers - 30%

place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.

Apply your mask, copyrights,  add your name save as a PNG

I applied beautifier to the whole tag, setting of choice

I used paper 7 for my mask layer
