Ptu - Lollipop Emo


This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Tube of choice/close up


Paid Scrap kit by Toxic Desirez
"Lollipop Emo" Purchase at Skullified Scraps


Font of choice

Temp322 by Kristin

Gradient of choice (used for text)

Plugins Optional:
red paw media - beautifier



Tutorial shortcut index:
"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.
"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.
Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.
"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.
"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.
New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.
"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy
Or my method on my blog under "How to dos"

Good D/S settings:
0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:
Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome
Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open template R/S to 80%, canvas size 640x600
remove copyrights, and remove wordarts

Select raster2, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper16, R/S 80%
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
there is already an outer glow. i added noise again then applied drop shadow

Select raster6, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper10, R/S 80%
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice

Select copyraster6, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper10, 
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice

Select raster8, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper9, R/S 80%
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice

Select copyraster8, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper9,

Select raster7, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper6, R/S 80%
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice

Select copyraster7, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper6, 
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice

Select raster3, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper8, R/S 90%
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice

Select raster4, selections- all- float- defloat, open tube closeup, R/S 
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
add noise to the outer star again then apply your drop shadow
I turned tube greyscale. blend mode: screen. Now duplicate tube
Apply screenworks- double pack: mode- 122. lower opacity to 38%

(do the very same steps on copyraster4)

Open up your main tube, R/S place in the center. add outer glow
add noise, then apply your drop shadow

Now it's element time


Elements i used and the resized %
Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 35, 4, color black
Wordart1 - 65%
Winged Heart - 20%
Charm - 25%
Ribbon1 - 30%
Lips - 25%
Cupcake - 25%
Skull2 - 20%
Star - 40%
Splatter - 60%
Heart & Bones - 30%
Sparkles - 80%
Kitty & Skull - 20%


place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.
After i merged my tag i added red paw media beautifier plugin
settings: 47, 65, 32, 100. or use your own settings

Add your copyrights, your name save as a PNG
You're done!
