Ptu - Pretty Fairy

This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:

Tube of choice/close up

Paid Scrap kit by Moonshine dezignz

"Pretty Kitty" Purchase at Smiley Creations

Font of choice

jenna sue

Plugins Optional:

red paw media - beautifier

xero - radiance

cybia- screenworks - regular glyph

Tutorial shortcut index:

"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.

"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.

Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.

"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.

"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.

New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.

"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy

Good D/S settings:

0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:

Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome

Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open frame1 R/S to 60%, image- canvas size 600x600

Using your deform tool i swirled my frame to the left a little

Using magic wand, click inside of frame, selections-modify- expand by 8

Open paper6 R/S to 50% selections- invert- delete. select none drag below

I turned my frame to greyscale thru hue/sat-colorize both at 0

Select paper layer, selections- all- float- defloat, C/P close up of choice

selections- invert. delete, select none, drag below. change blend mode

overlay, then i changed tube to greyscale through hue/sat - colorize both at 0

i then duplicated this layer, set at overlay again and opacity down to 96%

on your duplicated layer, i applied screenworks- regular glyph mode 78

Open tube of choice, R/S i added outer glow to my tube, add noise, D/S

i placed her off to the side, but you can put yours anywhere

Now it's element time

Elements i used and the resized %

Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 44, 7, color black

Element27 - 30%

Element54 - 50%

Element1 - 20%

Element32 - 30%

Element6 - 30%

Element33 - 25%

Element34 - 25%

Element22 - 35%

Element43 - 25%

Element57 - 20%

place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.

After i merged my tag i added red paw media beautifier plugin

settings: 50, 75, 16, 100. or use your own settings

Add your copyrights, your name save as a PNG

You're done!
