Ptu - Pinksta Vibes

This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice/close up


Paid Scrap kit by Toxic Desirez
"Pinksta Vibes" Purchase at Skullified Scrapz

Temp378 by Kristin 

Font of choice

Mask by Mizteeque


Plugins Optional:
Xero - radiance
Penta.com - dot and cross
Xero - moodlight



Tutorial shortcut index:
"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.
"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.
Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.
"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.
"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.
New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.
"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy
Or my method on my blog under "How to dos"

Good D/S settings:
0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:
Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome
Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open template R/S 75%, Canvas size 620x620
Remove credits and layer 11

Open tube , C/P onto canvas, drag where you want
Apply moodlight settings: everything default
But change original color to 128 - or use your own
Apply radiance settings of choice


Select raster5 , selection all float defloat
Open paper7 R/S to 60% C/P on canvas, selections 
invert- delete, select none, remove original layer

Select copy raster5, selection all float defloat
Open paper7, C/P on canvas, selections - invert
delete, select none, remove O/L and apply outerglow
Add noise settings of choice, then drop shadow

Select  raster7, selection all float defloat
Open paper10, R/S to 60% C/P on canvas, selections - invert
delete, select none, remove O/L and apply outerglow
Add noise settings of choice, then drop shadow

Select copy raster7 , selection all float defloat
Open paper10, C/P on canvas, selections 
invert- delete, select none, remove original layer

Select raster9 , selection all float defloat
Open paper1 R/S to 60% C/P on canvas, selections - invert
delete, select none, remove O/L and apply outerglow
Add noise settings of choice, then drop shadow

Select copy raster9 , selection all float defloat
Open paper10, C/P on canvas, selections - invert
delete, select none, remove O/L and apply outerglow
Add noise settings of choice, then drop shadow

Select raster8 , selection all float defloat
Open paper3 R/S to 60% C/P on canvas, selections 
invert- delete, select none, remove original layer

Select copy raster8 , selection all float defloat
Open paper3, C/P on canvas, selections - invert
delete, select none, remove O/L and apply outerglow
Add noise settings of choice, then drop shadow

Select raster10 , selection all float defloat
Open paper4, R/S to 60%, C/P on canvas, selections - invert
delete, select none, remove O/L and apply outerglow
Add noise settings of choice, then drop shadow

Select copy raster10 , selection all float defloat
Open paper4,  C/P on canvas, selections 
invert- delete, select none, remove original layer

Select raster 3, selections all float defloat
Open paper12, R/S to 60%, C/P onto your canvas
selections - invert - delete, select none
remove O/L and apply outerglow
Add noise settings of choice, then drop shadow

Select raster 4 - apply penta.com - dot and cross
settings: 56, 10, 2 - or your own settings

Select copy of raster 4. i turned greyscale added more noise
then i applied drop shadow of choice

Select raster2 , selection all float defloat
Open paper6, R/S to 60%,  C/P on canvas, selections - invert
delete, select none, remove O/L and apply outerglow
Add noise settings of choice, then drop shadow

Select copy raster2 , selection all float defloat
Open paper6, C/P on canvas, selections - invert
delete, select none, remove O/L and apply outerglow
Add noise settings of choice, then drop shadow

Choose the tube you want, turn greyscale
Select raster 6, selections all float deloat, C/P tube
Using drag tool drag where you want. selections - invert
delete, select none. Now select copy of raster 12 (swirl)
Selections all float defloat. go back and select your tube
Edit - cut. Select none. Select the very top layer. edit - paste

This pastes the tube in shape as the inside swirl layer - 
Using drag tool drag this piece and connect it to the purple swirl
On your other layer i lowered opacity to 50% apply radiance
Same settings above. on the purple swirl i used blend mode screen

I merged these layers together and i duplicated and mirror
Or you can do yours seperately. Also i added noise and greyscale
to these layers. Copy (3) of raster 6. and copy 2 if you do them seperate

Open sparkles R/S to 30% C/P onto canvas
drag to the left hand side - duplicate mirror
duplicate again and flip. duplicate this and mirror
Or place them where you want

Open roses R/S to 30% C/P onto canvas
i placed a few of these around bottom of my tube/sides


Now it's element time


Elements i used and the resized %
Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 38, 6, color black
Skullie - 20%
Dollar Sign - 15%
Money Bag - 25%
Handcuffs - 25%
Money - 25%
Bottle - 30%
Falling money - 15%
Gun 2 - 20%
Diamond - 8%
Poison Bottle - 15%


place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.
Apply your mask, copyrights,  add your name save as a PNG
I used paper 9 for mask paper R/S to 80%

Open element 9, image-canvas size 600x600
Select magic wand, click inside frame, selections-
modify-expand by 8, open paper8, R/S to 60%, C/P onto canvas
selections- invert, delet. select none drag below frame layer.

Select your paper layer, selections-all- float- defloat
open close up tube of choice, C/P onto canvas, selections invert- delet
select none drag below frame layer. blend mode to overlay
opacity set to 62% i changed tube to greyscale so it pops out more
apply penta.com - jeans, settings of choice

Open your tube, R/S place off to the side a little bit, drop shadow
on tube apply xero - moodlight, just change original color to 185

Now it's element time


Elements i used and the resized %
Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 56, 5, color black
Element10 - 60%
Element16 - 40%
Element45 - 30%
Element35 - 80%
Element34 - 25%
Element64 - 30%
Element23 - 25%
Element2 - 25%
Element21 - 30%
Element62 - 35%
Element30 - 25%


I drew out a rectangle out to look like a pole dropping
down behind the telephone, to look like a telephone pole
you can do this, i just used grey color and a bevel

place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.


Add your copyrights, your name save as a PNG
You're done!
