This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Tube of choice/close up
PTU Scrap kit by Michelle's Myth
"Bourbon Street" Purchase at
Smiley Creations Shop
Font of choice
rock it for my wordart
seaside resort NF for name
Temp by cakes, get them at the
Creative Misfits
Mask of choice
none
Plugins Optional:
xero - radiance
xero - fritillary
xenofex - constellation
xenofex - rip open
Tutorial shortcut index:
"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.
"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.
Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.
"D/P" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.
"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.
New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.
"F/F" Flood fill (paint bucket) tool.
Good D/P settings:
0, 0, 57, 6, color black
Good add noise settings:
Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome
Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

*May be difficult- working with lots of layers- steps*
Open monsta temp Image-R/S to 75%
this makes your canvas 600x600 exactly
Remove copyrights/wordart.
Open tube of choice, if using the one i did
then R/S tube to 36% other wise, R/S on your own
C/P onto your canvas, Selections- all- float- defloat
modify-expand by2, add new R/L, F/F with color of choice
now adding noise, settings above. D/P
close out all layers and merge this layer to your tube
keeping everything hidden (including tube)
Unhide rasters 3-4, merge - rename merged1. hide
Unhide rasters 9-10, merge - rename stars. hide
Drag raster 7 below 6, then hide layer 6
Unhide raster 7-8, merge - rename merged2.
Unhide everything. and start opening up your papers.
Select merged2, selections- all- float- defloat
Open paper1, R/S, then C/P onto canvas
selections-invert- delete. select none. remove O/L
Select raster5, selections- all- float- defloat
open paper6, on this layer since it was light i went to
effects-edge effects- -enhance, i did this twice optional
R/S 80%, C/P onto canvas, selections- invert- delete.
select none. now remove O/. do this same step on raster6.
Select raster 2, selections- all- float- defloat- open paper7
mirror the paper, because yellow was at the bottom already,
R/S to 60%, C/P onto your canvas. selections- invert- delete
select none. remove O/L, Select raster1. selections- all- float
defloat- image-add new R/L, select your F/F tool, flood fill
with the color purple off one of the papers. or your own purple
Apply xer- fritillary settings: 7, 9, 10, 41
Duplicate this layer now go to xenofex 2 - constellation
settings: 2, 20, 13, 3, 100, 75, make this transparent, random speed
Select "merged" the small blue circle behind your tube.
Selections all- float- defloat- add new R/L, F/F color of choice
this is the color i picked, #1c9e56. fill your color.
Open xenofex 2- rip open. under side color purple of choice
settings for this, 60, 40, 80, 5, 2.83. make it transparent, random speed
While this layer is still selected. selections- all- float- defloat
new R/L, F/F color of choice. i picked white. fill circle.
select none. drag below your ripped open circle. add noise - D/P
Select merged1, selections-all- float- defloat, open paper9
R/S to 80%, C/P onto your canvas. selections- invert- delete
select none. remove O/L. now go around adding boarders
to all of your layers, adding noise or other effects. D/Ps
On my purple rectangle. i added my tube, bend mode to screen
Also on the stars i changed the colors then added noise
In a thickish font type out "Show me your beads"
Apply plugins-colors to your text to suit your tag.
Now it's element time
Elements i used and the resized %
Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 61, 5, color black
Element11- 60%
Element12- 60%
Element49- 30%
Element10- 60%
Element48- 40%
Element19- 40%
Element51- 8%
Element2- 40%
On elements 11-12 i erased off the symbols off the beads
put them where you want, or use my tag as a guide.
Apply your mask- add copyrights, your name save as a PNG
You're done!
