Summer Beauty - FTU

This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice/close up


FTU Scrap kit by Horseplay Pasture Designs

Font of choice
Alex Brush


Plugins Optional:
Red paw media -  beautifier
xero - radiance
MuRa Meister - copies - 
afterimage (rotate random)
penta.com - color dot
and dot and cross



"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.

*Easy- working with layers*


Open frame 9 (blue frame) resize 60%
Image- canvas size set to 600x600
Open the red frame now. resize by 60%
Copy & paste as new layer onto your canvas
Using your deform tool swirl the handle up to the right
Close out of the back frame (red) using magic wand click
inside of your blue frame. selections-modify- expand by 5
Open paper resize 60% copy & paste as new layer onto your canvas
Selections- invert- delete. select none drag below frame layer.


Now open a close up tube of choice. while your paper layer is selected
Selections- all- float- defloat. copy & paste your tube as new layer
selections- invert- delete. select none drag below frame layer
Change blend mode - hard light. Adjust hue & saturation-
colorize - both dials set at zero. now add radiance
settings of choice, don't remember what i used


Add slight drop shadow on your frame, now merge. hide
Unhide your frame frame.selections- all- float- defloat
Now open paper 8, resize by 60%. copy & paste as new layer
Selections- invert- delete select none add dot & cross settings of choice
Now merge, adjust- duplicate. while your duplicate layer is selected
Add mura copies afterimage rotate random with the original settings
Now add your color dot plugin. settings of choice


Now unhide your layers, time to open your main tube
Resize if needed place in the center of your frames
Apply RPM beautifier setting of choice  -optional-
 Now  it's time for the elements. I used: light house, anchor, sun,
summer tag, crab, seagull on the wood stumps, flower
Resize and place where you want or use my tag as a guide



Now add your copyrights, save as a PNG
add your name and now you're done!
