Ptu - Spring Beauty


This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice/close up


Paid Scrap kit by Moonshine Dezignz
"Spring Frolic" Purchase at Smiley Creations


Font of choice
Springtime blues

Mask of choice
none

Temp757 by Millie


Plugins Optional:
penta.com - color dot
xero - radiance



Tutorial shortcut index:
"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.
"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.
Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.
"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.
"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.
New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.
"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy
Or my method on my blog under "How to dos"

Good D/S settings:
0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:
Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome
Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open template, Image- canvas size 600x600
Remove credits, wordart and background

Select raster 5, selectios- all- float- defloat, open paper7
R/S to 40%, C/P onto canvas, selections- invert- delete select
none. remove original layer. Re select layer i then put in my tube layer
i changed blend mode to screen. then appled color dot settings of choice
Select layer 6 add noise D/S

Open paper6, R/S to 60%, select raster4, C/P onto canvas
selections- invert- delete, select none. remove original layer
apply drop shadow, now select raster 2, do the same thing only
this time use paper 8 and R/S to 50%

Select raster layer 3 and 1, (seperately) selections- all- float-
defloat, open paper4, R/S to 50% C/P onto canvas, selections-
invert- delete, select none. remove original layer, apply D/S

Open your main tube. R/S if needed since my tube was laying down
i placed her in the center, like she's laying in front of everything
apply drop shadow and radiance settings of choice



Now it's element time


Elements i used and the resized %
Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 73, 4, color black
Element09 - 55%
Element21 - 40%
Element37 - 60%
Element39 - 20% 
Element43 - 80%
(Use deform and make it smaller to fit
inbetween the the 3 rounded rectangles
inside the template
Element42 - 25%
Element22 - 30%
Element49 - 40%
Element50 - 30%
Element44 - 15%
Element45 - 30%
Element13 - 30%
Element52 - 20%




place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.
Add your copyrights,  your name save as a PNG
You're done!
