This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Tube of choice/close up
Paid Scrap kit by Toxic Desirez
"Frightmare" Purchase at Skullified Scrapz
Font of choice
Needleteeth Psycho

Plugins Optional:
xero - radiance
red paw media - beautifier
photoeffex - scanlines
Tutorial shortcut index:
"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.
"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.
Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.
"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.
"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.
New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.
"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy

Good D/S settings:
0, 0, 57, 6, color black
Good add noise settings:
Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome
Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open template, R/S to 60% canvas size 600x600
Remove credits, the hands, copy raster 3 from both sides
Remove raster 13, raster 11
Select raster8, selections- all- float- defloat
Open paper4 R/S to 80%, C/P onto canvas, Selections-
invert- delete. select none, remove original apply outer glow
(Do the same steps for the other layer)
Select raster6, selections- all- float- defloat
Open paper6 R/S to 80%, C/P onto canvas, Selections-
invert- delete. select none, remove original apply outer glow
(Do the same steps for the other layer)
Select raster9, selections- all- float- defloat
Open paper3 R/S to 80%, C/P onto canvas, Selections-
invert- delete. select none, remove original apply outer glow
(Do the same steps for the other layer)
Select raster4, selections- all- float- defloat
Open paper10 R/S to 80%, C/P onto canvas, Selections-
invert- delete. select none, remove original apply outer glow
(Do the same steps for the other layer)
Select raster5, selections- all- float- defloat
Open paper11 R/S to 80%, C/P onto canvas, Selections-
invert- delete. select none, remove original apply outer glow
(Do the same steps for the other layer)
Open frame3, R/S to 65% C/P onto canvas, apply drop shadow
Apply noise on raster 10, apply drop shadow to that
Select copy of raster 2. selections all- float- defloat
Open close up tube of choice, C/P into this sections
Invert- delete select none. Bring opacity to 62%
On your tube layer change blend mode to overlayer
Then i applied radiance, default settings, or ones of your choosing
Open tube of choice, C/P onto canvas, i applied radiance
everything was default but i played around with beauty
Place tube where you want, then apply drop shadow
Open filmstrip R/S to 75%, C/P onto canvas
Drag below your circle spiked frame, raster/copy2
Apply outer glow white, then i clicked inside frame
Just the two, cause that's all you can see, selections-
modify- expand by3, Add new raster layer first then
flood fill color of choice. i used this color orange #fb846d
I put tube inside the squares, changed blend mode to
hue/sat - colorize - saturation dial at 0. turn greyscale
Apply radiance and scanlines plugin.
Radiance settings: 128, 50, 128, 97
Scanlines settings: 1, 2, 2, 10, 0 , 0
Open spider web, R/S to 40% i made canvas 600x600
Select web, selections all- float- defloat add new raster layer
flood fill color white. select none. drag below. add noise
now apply your drop shadow. and merge these together
Now C/P onto your canvas, drag them where the other webs are
Now remove those. and duplicate web flip then mirror
Select raster 2, selections all- float- defloat then i opened background1,
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert- delete. select none.
Now go back and select copy of raster 2. selectiona all float defloat
While in marching ants, select layer 18 (the paper layer)
Now delete. this removes the paper from the overlay. or you can keep it
Now it's element time
Elements i used and the resized %
Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 44, 6, color black
Witch hat - 25%
Castle - 30%
Spell books - 30%
Cauldron - 20%
Raven - 20%
Skull1 - 12%
Pumpkin1 - 15%
Ghost - 20%
Smoke - 20%
place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.
Apply your copyrights, add your name save as a PNG
You're done!
