Ptu - Witchy Ways


This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Tube of choice/close up


Paid Scrap kit by Toxic Desirez
"Cauldron Bubblez" Purchase at Skullified Scrapz


Font of choice
Addams

Plugins Optional:
red paw media - beautifier
penta.com - dot and cross
dsb flux - spider web



Tutorial shortcut index:
"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.
"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.
Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.
"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.
"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.
New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.
"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy
Or my method on my blog under "How to dos"

Good D/S settings:
0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:
Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome
Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Resize template to 85% then 95% canvas size 600x600
Remore Credits, raster 8, wordart roarrr which is raster 12s

Select raster 2, selections all float defloat
Open background, R/S to 60% C/P onto canvas
Selections invert delete, select none, remove original layer
Apply your own outer glow, i choose black 

Select raster 4, selections all float defloat
Open paper8, R/S to 50% C/P onto canvas
Selections invert delete, select none, remove original layer
Remove copy of raster 4, and apply your own outer glow

Select raster 10, selections all float defloat
Open paper7, R/S to 50% C/P onto canvas
Selections invert delete, select none, remove original layer
Do the same for the copy layer, apply outer glow to both

Select raster 14, selections all float defloat
Open paper6, R/S to 5% C/P onto canvas
Selections invert delete, select none, remove original layer
Do the same for the copy raster, and apply outer glow

Select raster 9, selections all float defloat
Open tube of choice, C/P onto canvas selections invert
delete. select none, change blend mode to screen
turned greyscale, hide all layers, merge your raster 9 
and your tube layers, now apply your outer glow, add noise

Select raster 5, selections all float defloat
Open paper 9, R/S to 50% C/P onto canvas
Adjust- brightness/contrast- Bright: 3 Contrast: 8
Selections invert delete, select none, remove original layer
Do the same for the copy raster and apply outer glow


On raster 13/copy of raster 13. apply a bevel setting of choice
Apply outer glow black, then outer glow of white. add noise


Select raster 6, selections all float defloat add new raster layer
i floor fill color black, i just didn't like the scanline effect
do this to the copy of this layer, while this layer is selected
Apply penta.com dot cross settings of choice. or mine:
amount: 45, cross distance: 14,  cross width: 2

Open the castle, i took the skull off the top of it, using selection tool
Now C/P onto your canvas, apply Mura copies: encircle 15, 55, 55
Everything else is default. Circle, Tile mode, Behind

Open tube of choice, R/S apply outer glow with orange
I used this color #ed5528, add noise to this, then drop shadow

Select raster 7, apply dsb flux - spider web 
Settings of choice, or mine: rays 42, rings 17, merge 84
Duplicate each layer, add constellation settings of choice


Now it's element time


Elements i used and the resized %
Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 66, 6, color black
Spider - 20%
Spell books - 20%
Rat - 20%
Skull1 - 12%
Gravestone - 30%
Cauldron - 30%
Lolli2 - 30%
Pumpkin1 - 20%
Frog - 12%
Eyeball - 4%
Poison apple - 12%
Bat - 15%



place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.
Apply your mask, copyrights,  add your name save as a PNG
You're done!
