FTU - Vintage Luvah


This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice/close up


Free Scrap kit by Gimptastic Scraps
"I Want Your Skull" This scrap is a PTU now FTU
But the store it was free at is now closed.. 
You can find other freebies of hers HERE
Grab the kit i used Here (2nd kit down)

Keep an eye out, maybe she'll add them to her blog
But, you could use a different kit and colorize to fit 


Font of choice
Morpheus

PsP tube - flame

Mask from Dee HERE
Second mask 

Plugins Optional:
red paw media - beautifier
xero - radiance



Tutorial shortcut index:
"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.
"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.
Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.
"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.
"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.
New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.
"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy
Or my method on my blog under "How to dos"

Good D/S settings:
0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:
Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome
Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open temp canvas 600x600
Remove credits, wordart, BG, layers 1 and 2 

Open tube R/S to 56% C/P onto canvas
Apply radiance settings of choice then D/S
Now open Banner element, C/P onto canvas
Place where raster 1,2 were. and place behind tube

Using change to target brush, using color of one of the elements
i colorized the cactus and the rose to fit the tubes color

Open stainedglass R/S to 60%, C/P onto canvas
Drag below tube/banner layers
Open smoke R/S to 80% C/P onto canvas
Also place below tube/stained glass and banner

Select layer 4, selections all float defloat
Open paper6, C/P onto canvas, selections invert-
delete, select none. remove original layer
Layer3, i colorize to greyscale, then added drop shadow

Do the same for layers 8 and 6 i choose paper1
Colorize the matching outer frame to these layers
Now layer13, selecions all float defloat
Open aper9 R/S to 80%, C/P onto canvas. selections 
invert- delete. select none, remove original layer

Select raster 12, selections all float defloat, add new raster layer
select flood tool and fill with color of choice, i choose black
Do this same step for the other layer, 13

Now on these new layers you filled with color
Do the following steps as you have for your papers
but this time paste your tube in there
Then turn your tube to greyscale. Adjust> hue/sat
colorize - both dials set at 0, Lower opacity to 70%
Apply outer glow - white - add noise then D/S

Select layer 10, selections all float defloat
Open tube this time unresize her, C/P onto canvas
Using drag tool drag inside the marching ants
Invert- delete. select none, remove original layer
Do the same to the other layer 9. I also took my burn brush
And brushed it over top of the circles once

Change blend mode to multiply - apply outer glow grey, D/S


Now it's element time


Elements i used and the resized %
Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 43, 7, color black
Spiderweb - 40%
Spider - 60%
Candles - 40%
Skull1 - 50%
Crow - 60%
Cameo - W55, H60%
Armbone - 60%
Flowers2 - 40%


place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.
Apply your mask, copyrights,  add your name save as a PNG
You're done!
