Ftu - Autumn Time




This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice/close up


Free Scrap kit by Tickled Pink Studio
"Clementine" Grab this scrapkit Here


Font of choice
Long Cool Grandma

Wordart of choice, I got mine at

Mask DBV Mask 109

Plugins Optional:
red paw media - beautifier
xero - radiance



Tutorial shortcut index:
"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.
"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.
Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.
"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.
"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.
New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.
"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy
Or my method on my blog under "How to dos"

Good D/S settings:
0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:
Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome
Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open frame4 R/S to 30% Canvas size 600x600
Image- Rotate- rotate clockwise 90

Open tube, R/S if you need too, C/P onto canvas
Select frame layer, select magic wand, click inside
selections- modify- expand by 7, Open paper3 R/S to 20%
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert- delete. select none
Drag paper layer below frame, Apply D/S on frame

Open sitches R/S to 20% I didn't use all of them. i took the section
of sitches that looked the best, using my selection tool
Drag a rectangle over the stitches you want, CUT then C/P onto canvas
Using your deform tool drag around to the sides of the frame

D/S on your tube, drag off to the side 
i applied radiance- settings: 128, 50, 128, 46 
Duplicate tube. drag original below frame.
Selecting copy layer, using eraser tool erasing everything
now switch back to the original and erase there

Open bunting R/S tp 15% C/P onto canvas, D/S
Select your paper layer inside frame
Selections- all float - defloat
Open paintscatter R/S to 20%, mirror 
C/P onto canvas- Drag inside frame where you'd like
Selections - invert- delete select none


Now it's element time

Elements i used and the resized %
Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 43, 7, color black
Flower2 - 20%
Leaf2 - 20%
Leaf1 - 15%
Leafy Branch - 15%
wordstrip1 - 20%


After you have all your elements set, Open the wordart
R/S to 60% C/P onto canvas, drag where you'd like
Apply a dropshadow, and duplicate wordart


Apply your mask, copyrights,  add your name save as a PNG
You're done!
