Ptu - USA Babe

This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:

Tube of choice/close up

Paid Scrap kit by Bibi's Collection

"Americana" Purchase at Scrap N Company

Font of choice

Kids Play

Plugins Optional:

Redpaw media - beautifier

Tutorial shortcut index:

"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.

"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.

Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.

"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.

"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.

New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.

"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy

Good D/S settings:

0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:

Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome

Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open element26, R/S to 60% Canvas size 620x620

I resized the heart again to 60%, C/P onto canvas

Kept in the middle, apply drop shadow on both

Open tube of choice, R/S to 43%, C/P onto canvas 

Drag near the bottom/middle, apply D/S

Open element32 R/S to 80%, C/P onto canvas

Drag below all layers, use your mover tool to move it

inside the heart where you want it to be

Open element86, R/S to 60%, mirror element

C/P onto canvas, drag below your tube layer

off to the right, poking out behind her, apply D/S

Open element 39, and 40 and  R/S both to 30%

C/P both onto canvas to the left, arrange them along the heart

Open element2, R/S to 30%, C/P onto canvas

Drag to the left, i hide it behind the flowers 

Selecting your select tool, go around the middle of your heart

Once your marching ants meet, Open element3, C/P onto canvas

drag inside the heart you want, selections - invert - delete select none

drag below all of your layers, but above the blueish splatter we added

I changed blend mode to screen 

Do the same step in the middle heart, but open element133 R/S to 50%

C/P onto canvas, drag your buildings where you'd like, selections -

invert - delete, select none. drag below middle heart. D/S on both

Now it's element time

Elements i used and the resized %

Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 56, 5, color black

ELEMENT71 - 25%

ELEMENT115 - 20%

ELEMENT116 - 20%

ELEMENT114 - 20%

ELEMENT18 - 25%

ELEMENT56 - 25%

ELEMENT123 - 80%

place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.

Apply your mask, copyrights,  add your name save as a PNG

I applied beautifier to the whole tag, settings of choice
