Ptu - Flower Faerie


This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice/close up


Paid Scrap kit by Disturbed Scraps
"In the summer air" Purchase at Scrap N Company


Font of choice
Billion Stars


Plugins Optional:
Redpaw media - beautifier
Penta.com - dot and cross
Xenofex 2 - constellation
Xero - radiance


Tutorial shortcut index:
"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.
"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.
Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.
"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.
"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.
New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.
"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy
Or my method on my blog under "How to dos"

Good D/S settings:
0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:
Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome
Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open element68 R/S to 80% - canvas size 620x620
Click inside frame. selections - modify - xpand by 5
Open paper1 R/S to 70% C/P onto canvas. selections invert -
delete. select none. drag below frame layer apply D/S on frame
Apply dot and cross settings:  20, 16, 2

Open element67 & 72 C/P onto canvas drag below all layers
one the darker flower frame using deform tool swirl it alittle bit

Open tube R/S to 37% C/P onto canvas drag off to right D/S
Apply radiance, settings: everything default but beauty set to 43

Open element75 R/S to 80% C/P onto canvas. drag on top frame
apply constellation on tube of this layer, settings of choice

Open element53 C/P onto canvas drag this behind your frame 
Open element 27 R/S to 30% C/P onto canvas and mirror
Using deform tool tilt it as it's being poured out

I added a new raster selected my paint brush using white
draw little lines then - adjust - motion blur angle 148.00 - strength 48
Apply drop shadow. duplicate on duplicate layer blend mode to
overlay then i lowered opacity down to 88%


Now it's time for more elements

Elements i used and the resized %
Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 43, 7, color black
ELEMENT64 - 60%
ELEMENT15 - 40%
ELEMENT65 - 60%
ELEMENT2 - 30%
ELEMENT4 - 30%
ELEMENT27 - 30%
ELEMENT44 - 25%
ELEMENT79 - 40%


place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.
Apply your mask, copyrights,  add your name save as a PNG
I applied beautifier to the whole tag, settings of choice
