PTU - Morticia & IT

This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:

Tube of choice/close up

Paid Scrap kit by Tag Catz Designs

"Morticia" Purchase at Scrap N Company

Font of choice

Clipper Script

Mask by Rachel Designs

Plugins Optional:

Redpaw media - beautifier

xero - radiance

Tutorial shortcut index:

"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.

"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.

Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.

"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.

"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.

New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.

"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy

Good D/S settings:

0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:

Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome

Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open canvas 650x650 - open tube R/S to 18% C/P 

onto canvas, drag her in the middle. apply D/S

Apply radiance on tube. using dodge to brighten dress

Open element35 R/S to 40% C/P onto canvas

duplicate many times to get a brick road going

I lined up three on the bottom. hid tube and merge

Now you can duplicate these and build it quicker

Oen element18 R/S to 80% C/P onto canvas

drag on the right hand side, behide tube and rocks

Open element11, R/S to 60% C/P onto canvas

Using your selection tool set to point to point

seperate the gate. put each side of the gate on either 

side of the house. apply drop shadow

Open element26 R/S to 80% C/P onto canvas

drag to the left hand hide, behind everything

tilt the frame alittle, using dodge tool

brighten up the frame itself. apply drop shadow

Click inside frame. selections - modify expand

by 15, Open paper2 R/S to 60% C/P onto canvas

drag inside your frame. selections invert - delete

select none. drag paper below al layers including frame

Open element42 R/S to 40% C/P onto canvas

drag to left side of frame. dodge tool to brighten

up the roses. duplicate this and deform tool on it

to make it smaller then duplicate - mirror drag next to gate

Now it's time for more elements

Elements i used and the resized %

Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 66, 7, color black

ELEMENT14 - 60%

ELEMENT36 - 40%

ELEMENT8 - 25%

place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.

Apply your mask, copyrights,  add your name save as a PNG

I applied beautifier to the whole tag, settings of choice

I used paper 4 on my mask layer
