Finest Honey ~ PTU

 

 

 

This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

I am using the art of Rachael Huntington
Unfortinately she doesn't sell her tubes anymore.

So if you don't have this tube you should use a different artist.

*easy tutorial*

 

Let's open up the "honey pot" frame, resize by 80% then image>canvas size 600x600, while the frame is selected i want you use your mgaic wand and click on the inside of each square frame, selections >modity> expand by 6, copy and paste paper invert>delete. drag your paper layer below your frame. now select your frame again, using your magci wand clicking inside each squares, copy and paste your tube inside the frame dragging your tubes where you want them.

 

 

i like to copy and paste a few tubes at once if you do this make sure you delet on each layer. invert>delete. select none. now dragging each tube layer below the frame. close out of your frame back (paper layer) and frame. merge tubes together, unhide paper layer, change blend mode on your tubes i dont remember what i used. i also changed the tube to black and white, by going to adjust> hue and saturation> colorize both dials set at zero.

 

 

 

Now i want you to bring out your main tube i placed mine at the right end of the frame and the way she was sitting looks like she was sitting on the frame. worked perfect. select the tube selections all float> defloat> modify> expand by 2, add a new raster layer flood fill color of choice, selections none. drag this layer below your tube. add noise and drop shadow.

 

 

Now it's time for the fun part, adding the elements. i used bee 3 and 4,  the daisy, yellow and black flower 6, honey drip, honey comb, honey stick, and the honey drip, honey hive, and the greenery. used paper 1, paper 7. resize your elements down to where you'd like them. or use my tag as a guide. adding drop shadows to them as you go.

 

 

now add your mask i also added mosaic antique to my mask, add your copyrights, add your name and save as a png and you’re done! i also added radiance to the whole tag this is optional
