Curved Text, How do you do this???

Well sometimes it's simple, other times it's not. But this tutorial will teach you how to do it and it's very simple. I will be showing you how to do this by scratch, Please skip the beginning steps if you already have your tag ready for your font.

I'm starting by opening a 600x600 canvas

I flood fill the canvas with the color black, then add a new raster layer flood filling with the color purple

Now i added my mask, now it's time for the base of the curved text. Using your preset tool (ellipse) (My Settings)

I want you to left click on your mouse and holding it down as you click on your canvas and drag out your circle to the size you want.

I like to start at the top right hand corner of my canvas and bring the circle down You can see it forming while you drag your mouse downwards,  Don't unclick until you have the size you want, You can always go and redo this. The circle depends on how much of a curve angle you want your text to appear above your tag.

Now you want to select your text tool now you will have a dotted box around your circle, and where you see the pink dots i want you to click on the edge of your circle with the text tool, You should be seeing an A with a curve under it. Once you see this i want you to click This will pop open your text tool so you can put in your text.

Now start typing out the text you want it to say, now as you can see it's started to come down the circle, Like below

if you don't want this put some spacing in front of your text to move it back up to the top like below

Now once you have the text where you want it on your layers palette vector 1 click the plus + this opens it up i want you to hide by clicking the eyeball on your font layer, then your preset circle layer. unhiding your font layer. Making sure your mask and flood filled layers are hiding as well and right clicking going to merge group.

If you don't do this you'll merge it all together. Unless you did this on a tag then you would hide your tag. Now you can add whatever effects to your text but you're pretty much done...

Hope it helps someone
