Ptu - Make Me Purr


This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Tube of choice/close up


Paid Scrap kit by Toxic Desirez
"Make Me Purr" Purchase at Skullified Scrapz


Font of choice
Buffet Script

Temp406 by Millie


Plugins Optional:
red paw media - beautifier
xero - radiance
xero - moodlight
photoeffex - scanlines



Tutorial shortcut index:
"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.
"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.
Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.
"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.
"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.
New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.
"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy
Or my method on my blog under "How to dos"

Good D/S settings:
0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:
Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome
Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open template R/S to 90%, canvas size 640x600
remove copyrights, wordart, and background layer

Select raster1, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper19, R/S 80%
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice

Select raster4, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper16, R/S 80%
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice

Select raster3, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper10, R/S 60%
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice

Select raster2, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper10, 
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice

Select raster6, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper18, R/S 80%
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice

Select raster5, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper18, 
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice

Select raster7, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper1, R/S 80%
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice

Select raster8, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper1, 
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice
I also then put close up tube inside these circles, turn greyscale
Lower opacity 62%, apply scanlines to them. remove layer 9-10. 



Open up your main tube, R/S place in the center. 
apply the two plugins below, then apply drop shadow




Now it's element time


Elements i used and the resized %
Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 53, 7, color black
Cupcake - 30%
Slapper - 25%
Paw Trail - 80%
Fish Bone - 20%
Cuffs - 25%
String - 60%
Bow2 - 30%
Kitten - 20%
Bell - 40%
Sparkles - 50%



place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.
After i merged my tag i added red paw media beautifier plugin
settings: 50, 64, 26, 100. or use your own settings

Add your mask i used paper7, copyrights, 
your name save as a PNG
You're done!
