Ptu - Rawkette

This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:

Tube of choice/close up

Paid Scrap kit by Toxic Desirez

"Rawkette" Purchase at Skullified Scrapz

Font of choice

2peas airplanes

Mask of choice

I don't know who made the mask

it was spiral, then i added

mosaic antique

Plugins Optional:

penta.com - color dot

Tutorial shortcut index:

"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.

"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.

Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.

"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.

"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.

New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.

"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy

Or my method on my blog under "How to dos"

Good D/S settings:

0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:

Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome

Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open frame to, R/S to 80% canvas size 600x600

Magic wand click inside, selections- modify- expand by7

Open CD, R/S to 80% C/P onto canvas, drag below frame

I added an outer glow to my frame, added noise, D/S

Open paper4, R/S to 80%, select your freehand selection tool

click on the zebra print of your frame and make a circle all the way around

You can see on the zebra frame and the pink skull frame the gap

selections- invert. delete. select none I know this isn't showing alot

but better than a gap, and you can see alittle color.

make sure you drag it below the CD as well

Open wordart, R/S to 50% C/P onto your canvas, and this fits 

right inside on the outside of the cd, now add drop shadow

Open frame3, R/S to 80%. C/P onto your canvas, drag it down alittle bit

using magic wand click inside each square, i chose 1st and 3rd, selections-

modify- expand by 5. add a new raster layer, flood fill color of choice

Do the same for squares 2nd, and 4th, flood fill another color of choice

i choose colors of the kits. pink and orange. Open close up tube of choice

Now i added two different raster layers when i flood filled my colors

So if you did the same step, select  your first flood fill, selections-all

float-defloat, fill in these two spots with your close up. selections-invert-

delet. select none, drag below frame, blend mode to: screen

I also changed tubes to greyscale to make the color pop

Merge and apply color dot settings of choice

Open music bars, R/S to 50%, C/P onto your canvas, i dragged above frame

but drag the actual layer below your frame layer. add drop shadow

Open your main tube, R/S if needed, place your tube in the center

apply your outer glow, then slight dropshadow

Now it's element time

Elements i used and the resized %

Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 56, 5, color black

Skull&Guitars - 15%

Lips - 25%

Notes - 30%

Ticket - 30%

Heart&Headphones 25%

Mircophone- 20%

Charm - 80%

Skull1 - 25%

i used deform tool on the ticket to make it less long

place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.

Add your mask, copyrights, your name save as a PNG

You're done!
