This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

penta.com - color dot
Tutorial shortcut index:
"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.
"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.
Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.
"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.
"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.
New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.
"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy

Good D/S settings:
0, 0, 57, 6, color black
Good add noise settings:
Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome
Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open template, R/S to 80%, canvas size 600x600
Remove copyrights, wordart, and arrow
Select circle2, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper6, R/S 80%
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice
Select circle4 , selections- all- float- defloat, open paper6,
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice
Select circle , selections- all- float- defloat, open paper9, R/S 60%
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice
Select circle3, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper9,
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice
Select rectangle, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper7, R/S %
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
Add an outer glow, add noise then drop shadow of choice
(Do the same with the other rectangle, same file name)
Select frames back, selections- all- float- defloat, open paper5,
C/P onto canvas, selections- invert, delete. select none, remove O/L
(do this to the other frames back the blue layer)
Add noise to frames 1 and 2, then a slight drop shadow
Now remove layer "frame, and frame back" this should be the
square+frame inside the top right circle. remove this optional
Open the Fairy, R/S to 30% C/P onto your canvas, left her in the center
applied an outer glow on her, added noise, then drop shadow
I used her for my tube, this is optional.
R/S fairy down again to 80% and i popped her inside a few
of the frames in the background. then changed them to greyscale
i changed the color of halftones, and applied color dot to them
Now it's element time
Elements i used and the resized %
Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 56, 5, color black
Web - 50%
Grass&Skulls - 50%
Castle - 50%
Skull candle - 25%
Book - 30%
Key - 20%
Raven - 20%
Vines - 50%
Leaves - 40%
place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.
Add your copyrights, your name save as a PNG
You're done!
