Ptu - Um Whatever

This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Tube of choice/close up

Paid Scrap kit by Toxic Desirez

"Um Whatever" Purchase at Skullified Scrapz

Font of choice

New Deal Deco NF

523 Temp by Millie

Millie's PsP Madness

Plugins Optional:

xero - radiance

penta.com - jeans

Tutorial shortcut index:

"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.

"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.

Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.

"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.

"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.

New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.

"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy

Or my method on my blog under "How to dos"

Good D/S settings:

0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:

Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome

Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open template, canvas size set to 600x600

Remove copyright, later9, wordart & background

Open tube R/S if needed C/P onto canvas, place in center

I then hide this layer, and started on my template

Select layer 8- selections all float defloat, open paper 9

R/S to 60%, selections invert delete select none remove original

Apply outer glow, add noise, then drop shadow

Select layer 4- selections all float defloat, open paper 3

R/S to 60%, selections invert delete select none remove original

Apply outer glow, add noise, then drop shadow

Select layer 2- selections all float defloat, open paper 4

R/S to 60%, selections invert delete select none remove original

Apply outer glow, add noise, then drop shadow

Select layer 1- selections all float defloat, open paper 2

R/S to 60%, selections invert delete select none remove original

Apply outer glow, add noise, then drop shadow

Select layer3- selections all float defloat, open paper 6

R/S to 60%, selections invert delete select none remove original

Apply outer glow, add noise, then drop shadow

Hide all of your layers, but leave layer 5, 6, 7 merge these

While still selected, selections all float defloat, add new raster layer

flood fill color of choice, i choose black. remove original (red rectangles)

I then selected this layer again, and i pasted tube inside rectangles

i changed opacity down to 68% and turned tube grayscale added radiance

Now i applied penta.com - jeans. settings: amount 27, width set at 4

Unhide tube, i added an outer glow then drop shadow of choice

Note: I placed my elements around my tube

Now it's element time

Elements i used and the resized %

Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 66, 7, color black

Knuckles - 25%

Spiked ball - 30%

Ice Scream - 25%

Lolli3 - 25%

Flower2 - 30%

Skull1 - 25%

Star - 30%

Splatter - 60%

place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.

Add your copyrights,  your name save as a PNG

You're done!
