Ptu - Blue Lagoon


This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice/close up


Paid Scrap kit by Kizzed by Kelz
"Sea Mermaid" Purchase at Scrap N Company


Font of choice
Dark Roast

Mask

Plugins Optional:
Redpaw media - beautifier



Tutorial shortcut index:
"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.
"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.
Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.
"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.
"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.
New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.
"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy
Or my method on my blog under "How to dos"

Good D/S settings:
0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:
Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome
Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open 620x620 canvas, Open element9 R/S to 20% C/P
onto canvas, apply Mura meister's copies - settings:
Circle, tile mode, behind, Encircle. 19, 65, 65, the rest at default

Open element6, R/S to 15% C/P onto canvas, using copies again
using default settings but switch shift X,Y set to 57, 57

Go back on your blue starfish and erase the tips poking out of the shells

Open element45, R/S to 20%, C/P onto canvas once more using copies
using default settings. but on shift X,Y set to 67, 67
Duplicate then mirror, and apply drop shadow on all layers
I then went in and erased anything poking out from the white shells

Open tube. R/S to 60% C/P onto canvas place in center
above all layers, this tube fits perfectly! Apply drop shadow

Open element97, C/P onto canvas place in the front of all layers except tube
Drag below your tube layer, looks as tho she's laying on them. apply D/S

Using your freehand selection tool. select around the frame.
Open paper6, C/P onto canvas, selections invert- delete select none.
drag paper below all layers. i used dodge tool and brightened it up a bit



Now it's time for more elements

Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 57, 5, color black
ELEMENT60 - 10%
ELEMENT15 - 25%
ELEMENT53 - 30%
ELEMENT96 - 20%
ELEMENT50 - 20%
ELEMENT1 - 20%
ELEMENT104 - 25%
ELEMENT16 - 25%
ELEMENT87 - 25%



place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.
Apply your mask, copyrights,  add your name save as a PNG
I applied beautifier to the whole tag, settings of choice

On mask i used paper 4
