Ptu - Fabulous Blue


This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice/close up


Paid Scrap kit by Lizquis Scraps
"Dark Blue" Purchase at Scrap N Company


Font of choice
Buttercup

Template by Sylvie Here

Plugins Optional:
Redpaw media - beautifier
Xero - Radiance
Xero - Fritillary



Tutorial shortcut index:
"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.
"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.
Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.
"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.
"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.
New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.
"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy
Or my method on my blog under "How to dos"

Good D/S settings:
0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:
Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome
Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open template R/S to 90% Canvas 650x650
Remove stars and background if there is one

Open tube R/S to 80% C/P onto canvas cut off alittle above her knee
using half of the body. even out the tube near the bottom of the template
and cut the rest off using your selection tool. Apply a D/S before doing this.
I also added a outer glow - add noise. before completely croping off her legs
Sharpen your tube once and apply radiance settings of choice

Selection purple squares selections all float defloat
Apply new raster layer, choosing color of choice
Flood fill color of choice, select none. I now put close up tube
Inside these squares. changed blend mode to, turn tube greyscale
Apply radiance of choice, then i Applied scanlines to the colored layer

Select your now blue squares (or what ever color you picked)
selections all float defloat. select white squares hit delete on keyboard
Select none. This removes some of the white rectangle to make "frames"
Now apply glass or bevel settings on your white frames. apply D/S

Dress up your wordart how you want. I then merged all my wordart
pieces and i dragged it down near the bottom of the  template

Select pink square selections all float defloat
Open paper4 R/S to 60% C/P onto canvas
selections invert - delete. select none, remove O/L
Apply drop shadow to this layer as well

White square add noise - drop shadow

Light purple square, selections all float defloat
Apply new raster layer, choose color of choice (light blue)
Flood fill color, selections none. apply Fritillary then drop shadow

Remove small purple rectangles left & right
Select teal rectangle and i applied paper 3 to each side
Apply an outer glow of white and add noise - D/S

Open paper1 Duplicate paper blend mode to screen merge
Select pink rectangle bottom selections all float defloat
C/P paper onto canvas, selections invert - delete. select none
remove original layer. apply outer glow. add noise - D/S
Do the same to the top layer 

On your dark purple layers apply fritillary again settings of choice
Turn greyscale, apply outer glow, add noise then apply drop shadow


Now it's time for more elements


Elements i used and the resized %
Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 66, 5, color black
Roses - 60%
Candelabra - 40%
Lightening - 40%
Glass - 30%
Skull3 - 20%
Lips2 - 15%
Mouse - 25%
Rose2 - 27%
Ring - 20%
Sparkles1 - 20%
Mirror - 40%

place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.
Apply your mask, copyrights,  add your name save as a PNG
I applied beautifier to the whole tag, settings of choice


You're done!
