Ptu - Autumn Witch

This tutorial was written in PSP 9 and can be used with any other version. I assume that you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Tutorial shortcut index:

"Delete" on your keyboard under Insert.

"C/P" copy and paste as new layer.

Remove "O/L" Remove original layer.

"D/S" Drop shadow located in 3D effects.

"R/S" Resize layer located in Image.

New "R/L" Raster layer, in Layers.

"outer glow" Gradient glow from eye candy

Good D/S settings:

0, 0, 57, 6, color black

Good add noise settings:

Uniform- 70-90 % noise monochrome

Random- 10-34% noise monochrome

Open canvas size 650x650

Open grass R/S to 50% C/P onto canvas

duplicate as many times you want

and make a grass scene near the bottom

Open tube R/S to 25% or of choice - sharpen

C/P onto canvas drag behind a few of the grass layers

apply  apply radiance settings of choice then D/S

Open arch R/S to 50% C/P onto canvas drag to left side

Open fence C/P onto canvas drag behind grass/tube layers

I placed in front of arch but i erased the fence in the middle of the arch

Make a selection around the arch using your selection tool

set to point to point trace around the whole. add new raster

Now open background paper R/S to 50% C/P On your new raster

select "paste into selection" then hit select none. 

drag your paper layer below all layers including your arch

I lightened it up a bit then sharpened

Now it's time for more elements

Elements i used and the resized %

Using this drop shadow: 0, 0, 57, 5, color black

Sign - 40%

Bat - 12%

Charm - 30%

Bow1 - 25%

Cauldron - 50%

Fire - 20%

Bottle1 - 20%

Roses - 25%

Caged Skull - 20%

Cat - 30%

Spell Books - 20%

Skull - 15%

Candle - 20%

Leaves - 25%

Pumpkin1 - 20%

Bottle2 - 20%

Rat - 20%

Raven - 10%

place elements where you want, or use my tag as a guide.

Apply your mask, copyrights,  add your name save as a PNG

I applied beautifier to the whole tag, setting of choice

I used paper 9 for the mask layer
